What is a Shaddy?

The most frequently asked question is, ‘What is a Shaddy’. Well, Sandy’s father, Joe Naughton, an eccentric farmer and inventor with a very fertile mind and a humour and heart as big as Everest, named Blue Shaddy. Joe decided long ago as a kid that the english language was simply boring to himself and his brother, so they renamed everything known to man and created their own language, and so a cat became a Shaddy. Maybe they simply had too much wheat belt sun on their heads, but either way it’s a kind of nice but quirky story and we’re proud to say that we stand as Shaddy’s today.
